This candy bouquet was made for a friend that invited me to Thanksgiving dinner.

Granny Square afghan

It took me a few months, but I finally finished this afghan and pillow for a friends' son. It's a giant Granny Square - 6' square.

Diaper Cake

I made this Diaper Cake this weekend for a lovely young lady having a baby. Hoping she enjoys it!

Duck Tape Wallet

Finished the wallet - that was super easy! Now I'm working on a cell phone holder...

Duck Tape Purse

I made a cute little summer purse out of a Banquet Homestyle Bakes meal box and teal colored Duck Tape. I had some cloth yo yo's to use as flowers for decoration...now I just have to make a matching wallet!

New crochet additions

Hi again! I needed an eyeglass case by my bedside so I whipped this up. Super easy to make.

I also needed a place to put grocery store/credit cards in and made this simple holder for my purse.

I'm still working on my large Granny Square afghan. I put a few rows on here and there. Then I'm giving it away.

New Purse

I made this purse in a day and a half ! What an EASY pattern....the body measures 13"x8" and the strap is 30" long. I think I'll be making more of this! (And when I do, I'll post some pics!)

Crochet dog blanket

I finished Copper's blanket. It measures 30"x 40" and he's checking it out! Later, I'll also post a closeup of the pattern. This was very easy to make - if you'd like the pattern email me!

Jewelry

Today, I made this 7 1/2" Swarovski crystal bracelet with a lobster clasp and matching earrings. It didn't take long to make! Instead of using wire or cord, I used elastic for some give. Wish I had some place to wear it....maybe I'll sell it instead!

Plarn Clutch or Coupon Holder

This little plarn bag I made using hdc stitches. You can use it for a jewelry bag, coupons, eyeglasses - anything you like! It measures 7"x4". I enjoyed making it and it took very little time to whip up.

Fun scarf

This 90 inch scarf - from fringe to fringe - was made in 45 minutes! Made with worsted weight yarn and size 50 knitting needles, is a great accessory for fancy or fun. Let me know if you want the directions!

Plarn things....

Today was a good day. I connected 25 plastic grocery bags and rolled them in a ball so I can make something. Don't know what just yet though. I'm posting a pic or two of things I have made with the plarn. A small purse and a soda can cover just to give you an idea of what can be made. This being my first entry and all.......Well, tomorrow I'll post some pictures of crafty things that interest me. And maybe some hobby things that interest my husband. I like to knit and crochet, make simple jewelry, beading and my husband is into radio control airplanes, Rangering, and puttering around cars and trucks.
We came to Arizona via a 38' Safari Serengeti motor home. THAT was a trip. We came from a little town in northern New hampshire. I believe they have a lot of snow on the ground there - where I am we have NONE. That in and of itself is a good reason to move.
